  47. I don't believe the problem is is the naming of the services directory
  48. file.  While it is not clear from the original report which name was
  49. used, the error message indicates a services directory file is present. 
  50. If not, the message is "Services directory not available." or "?No
  51. kewords match - list".

  53. In the HPUX systems which I have access to, the problem is that the
  54. global ckermit.ini file is a preliminary 5A(190) file dated Aug 20, 1994
  55. which has a LOOKUP macro definition which appears to not work.  The
  56. avoidance is to copy the 6.0.192 ckermit.ini file from
  57. ftp://kermit.columbia.edu/kermit/f/ckermit.ini to $HOME/.kermrc and
  58. start kermit with the command "kermit -y .kermrc".
